As we transition from winter to summer, the days grow longer, and we encounter the sun more frequently. However, this also signifies that the opening of the Wild Bits exhibition is drawing nearer with each passing day. The hard work of installing the exhibition and preparing for our guests truly begins. We have a lot of challenging yet rewarding work ahead of us, and we could certainly use your helping hands. If you feel wild enough, come and join the forces!

We are currently welcoming volunteers and interns to join our exhibition team this spring and summer to assist us in preparing and installing the exhibition, as well as aiding in hosting our guests. The preparatory work will take place from March to May, with the exhibition scheduled to run from 25th of May to 15th of September, 2024. During the spring, we require additional muscle power, while during the summer, we need attentive individuals who can help ensure the well-being of our guests and artworks. If you’re interested in gaining experience in organising an international art project, enjoy hands-on work, appreciate being immersed in nature, and value collaboration with various artists, then this call is for you!

We received 14 proposals for our architectural residency project, Wild Space. After careful consideration, we’re thrilled to announce that the winning idea comes from two young and talented Estonian architects – Johan Kirsimäe and Markus Varkki. Johan and Markus will be joining us in Maajaam for an architectural residency in April to design a recreational area and an information desk for the Wild Bits exhibition. Let’s cheer for them! You can see their creation during the Wild Bits exhibition from 25th of May until 15th of September.
